So I think I owe you all an apology. I have been neglecting my blog for two maybe three months now, and I think it's time I catch up.
I started a new job working for Paul Mitchell. I absolutely love it!!!! I don't think I could ask for a better job. They have a culture there called, "Be Nice or Else!" It is amazing how positive everyone is there!
Angel is doing really well! We have gotten her food allergies under control! Her ADHD has mysteriously calmed down, and she made honor roll on her report card! I am so proud!
Renee is definitely growing into her own skin. Her personality is becoming more and more like Lee's every day. Her little smile lights my morning every day, and the way she bugs Angel has jealous little sister written all over it.
Lee is... well Lee. He is still the Negative Nelly of the family, and I still can't seem to do things right for him, but now I look at it as... who really gives a fuck anyway?! :)
All is good in my world. I don't think I could ask for more right now.
I will do my best to keep better track of time and update my blog more often!
I'm sorry I have not been posting. Things have been crazy. On to todays subject... Florida!
All in all I guess it could have been worse/better. On the last day Renee was fine and ready to play in the ocean... sadly we had to leave.
Yes I know... I've been missing.
Things have been so very crazy lately. I don't know where to start. Here are some up coming blog topics though..
Angel's Mysterious illness....
Moving? Maybe
It's not unemployment... It's funemployment
Yard sale Drama
I promise to start back in another day or so....
Apparently we have enough money to take a vacation. I am still a little confused by this, but... I'll take it. My husband is somehow saying we have enough cash for a mini vacation in the North West Florida Gulf. I am not even going to start questioning it. I'm going to be happy that I'm being released from the crazy house for a while.
There is something kind of funny about all of this though! My best friend Christina on Vacation in the very same area we are going! I am excited about this, but my husband... not so much. Then there is my husbands best friend Anthony... this is the funniest part! Christina said something to Anthony about riding down to Florida with Lee, the girls and me. Anthony thought it was a good Idea, got the time off work and is coming down too. Oh wait it gets better! Anthony can't afford his own room; he'll be paying us to stay with us.
Lee is pissed about all of this. He keeps asking me, "Do you really want to go on vacation and see the people we are trying to get away from?"
I told Lee, "This is your vacation, it's just a change in scenery for me, so it's whatever you want to do."
What Lee doesn't understand is, those people he is trying to get away from are the same ones who keep me sane while he's off busy being a DICK.
:) Karma! :) I'm glad we are going! The baby has never seen the beach, and Angel and I miss the beach! We are only staying for four days, but I'm sure it will be nice!
It seems that my blog is turning into one long rant after another. I know most of you probably don't read much anymore, and I understand why. Please know that I don't have much of anywhere else to vent though. I do call my best friend, but I don't want to burden her with all of my meandering thoughts.
Just last night my husband got off work just a little before 8pm and told me he had to go to his mothers to give her a birthday card and gift. I asked him to stop at the store and pic up a few things as well. His mother lives about 20 minutes away so I figured he would be home around 10 or so.
10 came and went. I finally called him around 11 and he said he was on the interstate headed home and would stop at the Kroger down the street. At 5 to midnight he comes strolling in puts groceries on the counter and heads straight to the bathroom. I swear to you he reeked of alcohol. I smelled it when he went in and out of the bathroom.
I decided not to say anything to him then; I went to sleep. When I woke this morning he was already gone to work. I called him on the phone and spoke about nothingness for a while. After not mentioning a word about last night, I decide to bring it up. He tells me over and over that he wasn't drinking, but refuses to swear upon it. *I knew he was drinking.*
I call Christina and casually mention it so she in turn calls my husbands best friend Anthony.*Whom she is also friends with* She starts to shoot the breeze with Anthony and mentions that I had said Lee smelled like alcohol when he came home. Sure enough Anthony says they had been out at the bar together. Anthony makes Christina swear not to tell me *come on now what grade are we in?* but of course since Christina and I are best friends so she tells me.
I didn't let Lee know that I knew. I don't ever reveal my sources, if I did I wouldn't have any left. So I have decided to let Lee know that I don't believe him and that I know he smelled like alcohol. My nose doesn't lie! * I am going to stick to it and see if he cracks. Why would he lie to me about this? What the fuck is so important he feels like he has to lie to me about it?!? He won't even give me the benefit of the doubt and tell me.
If he keeps it up he'll be back to his old bachelor days in no time.
Finally things have started to calm down around here.
Friday was my birthday, and a very very crappy day indeed. It started that morning, hot and muggy, Angel had field day at school, so of course Renee and I had to attend. *Don't get me wrong I love going to see Angel at school, but it was just to miserable out* Renee fussed the whole time and by the end of it I was ready for a nap.
Did I get my nap? Nope, as soon as we were done with field day I come home to see that my massive trash can has been dumped everywhere and spread through the cul-de-sac. *Happy birthday to me!* It took me what seemed like forever to finally get it all cleaned up.
I come in to take a shower and I have no hot water! AHHHHHH! NO NO NO! As it turns out we had a hot water leak, a very small one in the garage, but it was an easy fix with some plumbers putty.
After my cold shower, I go and get Angel from school. Lee was still at work and as dinner time approached, it was more clear that Lee would not be making it home in time for dinner or to take Angel to her friends birthday party.
The girls and I ran to Wendy's for dinner and then to Pump-It-Up. I swear to you those inflatable party places are a colorful overinflated hell! The birthday party ended at about 8:30 so I rushed home and put the girls in bed.
9 p.m. and I still didn't have 1 birthday card. I was feeling SO upset. My neighbor, Diva came over and finally gave me a card and a Malibu and orange juice drink. Okay so maybe it was just Malibu with a splash of OJ, but man it was nice.
10 pm Lee finally comes trolling home. I was so ready for bed, but he insisted I stay awake. Lee then hands me a small bag with a USED PS2 game and a (so weird it's cute) card. After the day I had he was lucky I took the crappy gift so well. All I did was look at it and say, "Oh a used game... thank you. Well I'm tired I'm going to go to bed now." That's when the neighbors boyfriend came over with a massive box.
He sat the box down in my lap. I looked down and read, "Magic Bullet, Can do any job in 10 seconds or less." The only thought in my head at this point is, "At least it's better than a fucking used game." I opened the box, and much to my surprise... a Wii Fit! :) I was quite satisfied with that.
We stayed up and talked a while longer before went to bed. I suppose it could have been much worse. :)
So what was a bad birthday day for you? How did it turn out?
Tuesday morning as I let the dog out I look outside and see our septic tank overflowing into the yard. Smelled real great too! So all day Tuesday we couldn't use our plumbing. I ended up staying at my parents house until it was the girls bed time.
The plumber finally showed up around 9:30 that night and fixed it for us so I could finally use the bathroom and take a shower. Now that you know why I've been away from blog land I hope that you can please forgive me for disappearing a while. Also I may be gone for a few days again because Angel has field day tomorrow, my father has his birthday in a couple days, Angel has a friends birthday party tomorrow, and my birthday is tomorrow.
I feel like my head is spinning from all of the events we have going on.
I'm sure things will calm down soon!
I searched and searched there are no schools in a 100 mile radius that have the Physical Therapist Assistant Program other than the one I've already applied to. We can't afford to move closer to another school, so that's just not an option. I have decided that I will try to apply again next year. Disappointment I can handle, defeat I will never allow.
Once I got over my self-pity I looked around my house and saw a horrid mess! So of course I have been scrubbing my ass off. On the up side, my house looks better and better and I've even burned a few calories. :)
This past Saturday my Brother In Law (BIL1) was married. The wedding and reception was beautiful! I convinced Lee to wear pink and the girls and I had coordinating dresses. Don't we look like a nice happy family?
Sunday we threw a surprise birthday party for my Dad at my house. I went really well! He was more surprised that my younger sister and I were together and he didn't ask us to be. The party was nothing huge, just a few friends, family, his favorite 70's music, and his favorite cake, beer and pie. My best friend Christina was there and boy did she get tipsy! She ended up passing out on the couch in her husbands lap. She seemed to have a good time though.
After everyone left the party, and the girls were down for the night, Lee and I took a sigh of relief and crawled into bed. About 3am Christina started drunk texting, I just ignored her and tried to go back to bed, but we all knew Lee couldn't do that. He texted her back telling her that unless there are naked women pix he doesn't want a text at 3am. (What a smart ass.)
Finally at 4 am everyone was sleeping well! All of a sudden Lee and I wake to this ear piercing beeping sound. At first I couldn't figure out what it was. Then I realized... MY SMOKE DETECTOR IS GOING OFF!!! Lee and I jump out of bed, I run to the other end of the house to the girls, Lee goes straight to the smoke detector. I realize, first of all I don't smell smoke, secondly the walls were cold. I searched the house over for any sign of fire; nothing. Lee took the smoke detector off the wall.... SPIDERS! Spiders set off the smoke alarm!
We finally made it to bed once our adrenaline levels went down, but of course by then it was time to wake up.
So that's where I've been! I don't believe things around here will ever be truly "calm".
Well I received my letter from Physical Therapist Assistant program today.
Dear Cassie,
Thank you for applying for a position in the Physical Therapist Assistant Class of 2009-2010. The PTA Program Admissions Committee members have reviewed your application, and I regret to inform you that we are unable to offer you a position in the class at this time. There were many outstanding applicants this year, with the number of qualified applicants far exceeding the number of students that can be admitted to the program. Should you choose to apply for the program again next year, we are prepared to assist you in that process. Thank you again for your interest in the program.
Sincerely;
Pamela Saladino
I am crushed. I don't know what to do now. I wanted this so bad. Somehow I blew it; I'm not sure how though.
I think I'm going to crawl back into bed and cry for a while.
What am I supposed to do now???
Maybe it's the PMS talking but then again... you are an ASS!
I am so sick and tired of hearing you whine about your job, and how crappy it is! You had a chance to go to college and you chose otherwise! I know your job is hard, I know you don't like it, but quite frankly after I've had a long day of cooking, cleaning, listening to children whine, cry and occasionally scream, I don't care if you had a long day of driving in the quiet truck!!!!! And don't even think about telling me how bad you need a break!
I need a fucking break! I work non stop! I work sick, injured, and without pay! I make sure you have a decent house to come home to, a nice dinner every night, and that our children are healthy and happy. I don't leave without at least one attachment that seems to scream every time they see something they want. My breakfast lunch and dinner is always cold, soggy, or sometimes absent due to the fact that Renee seems to think I am feeding her something different so she wants my plate. I have forgotten my own name and only answer to the shrill of, "MOM!" The best conversation of the day is when I am asking Angel why she thinks it is okay to tie her Kitty to a bathrobe belt and fling her around the room.
Now on to what you did this weekend! That was just wrong! How fucking dare you!!! I know you wanted to go to that birthday party for the guy at work, but come on now, if we can't get a sitter, why is it okay for you to go and not me?!? It wouldn't have been so bad if you had only stayed the 2 hours like you said you would. 9 hours there is a damn joke! I could have smacked the shit out of you because I was so mad. On top of that you came home reeking of alcohol and smoke, drunk as a sailor. That means you were fucking stupid enough to drive home drunk!!!
Why in the fuck would you risk not only your life, but the lives of everyone else on the road, and our future just so you can drive? That was supreme idiotic behavior at its worst! Don't bitch and moan to me about how bad you need a fucking break asshole! If you keep it up you will get a permanent break, due to death or paralysis. I need a husband, and these girls need a father. You are not invincible! You are not half as good as you think you are; if you were you would be dangerous. Get a fucking clue and grow up! Don't be so stupid!
Love,
Your Pissed Off Wife
As I was changing Renee today Angel came in the room;
"Mom, can I use Renee's princess potty for Kitty, I have to potty train Kitty?"
(Kitty is Angels favorite stuffed animal, she has had it since the day she was born.)
Me: "No. Does Kitty potty in real life?"
Angel: "Well... in my world she does. Well she pees, she doesn't poop. There is no poop in my world. And we don't call it pee! We call it tinkle!"
I couldn't answer... I was too busy trying to hide my face. As I am changing a diaper all I could do is think, I wish there was no poop in my world.
Tomorrow I have my interview for the physical therapist assistant program! I am scared, excited and a nervous wreck. I so badly want this to go well! I have wanted this for a long time and even with my other degree, I wasn't fully satisfied. As bad as I want this to go well, I also want it to be over with already.
Wish me luck!!
Honestly I don't know.
In about an hour I will be in the waiting room at the Dr.'s office. My husband is forcing me to go,(okay maybe not forcing me, but suggesting highly).
It started last week on Friday. I had a bad headache all day. It was one of those close the curtains turn down the TV crawl into bed and pray the baby doesn't cry kind of headaches. Nothing would help either; Tylenol, Asprin, Motrin... nothing.
That night as I was tucking Angel in for bed, my headache suddenly dissappeared. Then I felt this sharp pain in my wrist. When I looked down, a large blue knot was on my wrist.
Over the next few days it turned into a bruise over my lower palm and whole wrist. Lee wants me to get it checked out. Odd thing is the bruise doesn't hurt.
It has been a very very interesting weekend... I think I'm going to go in order of how and what happened.
Friday my Angel LIED TO ME. I mean straight faced lied! I was so so so mad at her! It was over something really insignificant too. I asked her to put her dirty clothes in the laundry room for me and then I would let her on the computer. I then went into my room to make the bed. When I came out of the room I asked angel if she put her clothes in the laundry room. "Yes Mommy, and I even put them in the washer!" I told her that she could now get on the computer.
A few moments later I go into the laundry room to start the washer, (no clothes to be found). I walk up to Angel and without a word, shut off the computer. She starts yelling, "Mommm what'd you do that for?!?" I ushered her to her room, picked up her hamper and sat it in front of her. Her response was, "Oh." I then told her that she had to take a 5 minute time out and she was grounded for the rest of the day from all electronics. GRRRRR! I can't stand it when people lie!
Saturday I had to go to Kroger. *I hate shopping on the weekends, it's always packed.* To make matters even worse I had to take my husbands best friend with me. *Sorry Anthony but it's true.* Not that he's not cool or anything, but it's just one of those things I would rather have my husband there for. He was a big help with the girls though, Renee fell asleep in the shopping cart and he ended up carrying her for about 30 minutes. When we finally finished getting everything in the cart, we go up to checkout ( I was not about to do the U-Scan, I had wayyyy to much). There were only 2 registers open and both had lines backed up in to the isles.
We were patiently waiting and talking amongst ourselves, when an elderly lady comes up and starts to randomly look at people an complain about the lines. She was ranting about how ridiculous this was and how the cashiers needed to hurry up. The old bag was being a royal bitch! She walks up to one cashier and tells her that she needs to do something about this line and get more people on registers. *Like the young girl could actually do that. The girl was trying her best to get to everyone as quickly as possible; I thought she was doing a good job.*
Then the old bag starts yelling about how inconsiderate the cashier was while she paced up and down the main isle. I really wanted to say something... and I probably would have if my children had not been there. Finally a young man walks up to a cash stand and prepares to open it. That's when the Old Bag starts telling other people to hurry up and get in line before she changes her mind. That's when one lady (who apparently had had enough of this Old Bag incessantly nagging) looked at the Old Bag and told her that obviously she needed to leave faster than everyone else because she was more important. (I about peed myself laughing when the woman said it too.)
Sunday night I decided to go over to my parents house and grill some lemon pepper chicken that I had marinated all day. Lee was already over there working on a scooter my dad had bought. The guys got the scooter fixed, and after dinner they went to test drive it. Lee and my dad did just fine. My mother then decides she wants to ride.
She gets on the scooter and starts to drive down the street. She veers to the wrong side of the road and wobbles a bit but holds it up just fine. She hit full speed and I heard her let of the throttle, I seen the brakes light up then I see the brake light fly up in the air. She had just flipped the scooter! Lee and my Dad start running down the street. I grab Renee up, then Angel's hand and run full force down the street toward my mother. I get halfway there, and realize; First what am I going to do with 2 kids once I get there, and Second Angel couldn't keep up and I was dragging her behind me. I stopped and turned around. I grabbed the phone and waited for a signal to call 911.
Luckily she got back to her feet, and hobbled back home with the guys helping her. I checked her out to make sure she was alright. She had road rash all down the right side of her from the side of her face to her ankle. I checked her for a concussion, and she seemed okay... shaken but okay. Once we got her cleaned up and in bed, I decided I had had enough for the weekend. Lee went and got the newly fixed, now broken scooter while I collected the girls and their things.
To be completely honest, I'm glad to see the weekend end.

It's amazing what a pair of shades can do isn't it? No matter
how hard we try our eyes give away everything. A good pair of sunglasses can
hide a hangover, tiredness, sadness, fear, illness, tears, lying or excitement. In this particular picture, these shades were hiding the the fury that
lurked beneath.
It was Easter afternoon, Lee and I had just dragged the
girls in from egg hunting. Renee was having no part of being inside.
The longer I stay here, the more I hate my neighbors, the ones to the left anyway. . .
They are needy, and don't ever help anyone else out. Just today they have 2 "infractions" 1. When mowing their lawn, they threw bricks on to my property and 2. They are having a party and invited people to park on my front lawn! Did they ask me???? NO!
GRRRR!
I really want to keep the peace, but geeze... how much do I have to give here???
So here I sit with my favorite new toy. It's sleek, fast, pink and small. It calls for me from across the house to come and use it. I'm addicted already and like a crack addict I can't put it down.
You may be wondering what kind of toy can have that effect on a person?!? What on Earth could be that great?
My brand spankin new BlackBerry! It's too bad I can't keep this beautiful machine though. Lee says it's too much. That we don't need to be constantly connected, and we can always get email and GPS on another phone, without paying the extra BlackBerry charge every month.
But this is not a phone this is mobile euphoria. It's my lifeline to the outside world. I am in love. But I suppose this love will be short lived.
So for now I sit here on the couch blogging my BlackBerry heart out. Later today we are going to Verizon to pick out some boring phone.... Soon I will be back to the old faithful desktop......
A while back I submitted a free verse poem to The New Author for consideration of a poetry/short story contest. I would be much obliged if you guys would go read my poem titled Success and vote for it on April 10th. I am very proud of this poem because it explains my daily struggles when I was going to college and working 2 jobs. Please go and take a look at it, even if you don't vote, I would love to hear your comments. Thank you guys!
Just wanted to update you guys on what's going on with Angel. Tomorrow she goes in for an upper and lower GI endoscopy. I'm sure all will go well... I'm anxious to hear what they find. As always I will let you all know as soon as I can.
The preparations for this are pretty intense... how am I supposed to convince a 6 year old to drink that crap then let me give her a suppository twice???? I had to feed her dinner at 3pm today and she is not allowed to have anything else to eat until after the procedure tomorrow. Her diet is purely a clear liquid diet until 9am; then nothing.
Wish us luck... it's going to be a tough day.
I took this idea from MJ I hope she doesn't mind! *Don't worry I told her I was doing it... and if she does mind I will remove this post*
MJ recently did a post titled "Updating My Resume" where she listed the The Top Ten Reasons To Hire Me That I Can't Put On My Resume. I thought it would be fun if I did the same and forwarded it to others... here we go;
10. Function very well under stress.
9. Do not need sick days... I am not allowed to get sick.
8. Can manage several hectic schedules with ease. (Or at least make it look easy.)
7. Cater to every individuals meal plans without complaint, (out loud).
6. Can change a diaper anywhere *even standing* in less than 30 seconds.
5. Can spot dangerous situations a mile away, and fix them before anyone else notices.
4. Am able to complete projects on time even when learning they exist at bedtime.
3. Great with improvisation and few tools to do such.
2. Know the answer every time I am asked, "Why?" (google assisted).
1. Have no problems focusing on the task at hand with background screaming, yelling, crying, fussing, and complaining repeatedly while calling my name.
Okay... so now I would love to be able to see this list from a couple people... I think they would do a good job on it so maybe they will do it...
Maybe...
The Obnoxious SAHM
Faker
This weekend was fun/stressful/ exciting/ exhausting/ embarrassing/ painful/ and chaotic. On Saturday Angel had a birthday party to go to at Pump It Up... (for those of you without children it's an inflatable party place). I took Renee with me because Lee had plans for the day.
We get to Pump It Up and Angel runs off to play. Renee was hesitant at first because they had the main lights off and the disco ball on... so it was pretty dark. Once they turned the lights back on, Renee was more than ready to jump on everything. *Of course that means I have to jump on everything too... What Friggin Fun!!!!*
You never realize just how out of shape you are until you have to do something like this with your kids... Here's what I mean;
There was this massive 2 story slide that you had to climb.... no worn out mom access here. Of course Renee wanted to slide... of course she couldn't climb it herself. (Insert superhero music here) MOM TO THE RESCUE!!! I carry Renee up and we slide down... I swear to you about 20 times. I was so tired, sore, and out of breath. *Oh and the skin on my elbow was rubbed off from the slide... I had forgotten just how bad that burns*
Finally the time for cake and ice cream comes! *YEA!!! My relief is here!* The Birthday Boy starts to open presents as everyone eats cake and ice cream. He gets to our gift (we gave him a card with 10 bucks in it). He opens the card pulls out the money looks at Angel and asks, "Where's my present?" Very matter of factly Angel replies, "We didn't have the moneys to get you a big present so we gave you sum moneys so you can buy what you want." The boys parents look over at me, expressionless. I wanted to crawl into a hole and die. I was so so so embarrassed! I know it's nothing to be ashamed of, but I hate that it was rubbed in. I know Angel was just trying to explain to him why he didn't get a gift to unwrap from us... still embarrassing.
After we leave there we head home. I feed the girls lunch and Angel asks if she can go play with NN for a while outside. I let her go and check on them in the neighbors fence every couple of minutes. I call Angel home after a couple hours and she comes running home. She tripped over a brick and scratched her leg up. The corresponding knot on her shin was a pretty purple too.
As I was cleaning and putting a bandage on her leg, she shows me a large scratch on her arm where the NN dog had scratched her. I cleaned and bandaged that too.
Okay so we have 1 very tired mom, 2 worn out and now cranky children, 3 band aids, and my back starts hurting terribly. *When I say terribly I mean this sharp pain that radiated down my left leg. I swear it felt like barbed wire being threaded through my back and leg.* I laid the girls down in Angels room and put a movie on. *I was praying they would take a nap* I found the heating pad and laid on the couch.
Not even fifteen minutes later Lee calls me and tells me to get the girls together and meet him at my parents house. *AHHHHH! I'm in agony, I'm tired and I don't want to move! Leave me alone!!!*
I get the girls together and head over to my parents. I call ahead of time and tell my Mother about my back pain and she meets me outside to get Renee out of the van. I walk in and lay down. My mother offers to go back to my house and get a pain pill when she realized how bad I was in pain. (I hate taking pain pills, I can't stand how sleepy I get when I take them, and with 2 kids running around I need my mind more alert so normally I just deal with the pain.)
Once my mother was back I took the pain pill and crashed. I wasn't coherent until about 10pm. I woke up and was feeling somewhat better. Lee and I collected the girls and went home.
Sunday was much better... sort of; The morning was pretty uneventful, my Parents invited us over for dinner... so we went over there to hang out after lunch for a while. Lee had gotten Angel a wind spinner at the store so they were outside playing together. I was inside with Renee when all of a sudden I heard a horrid scream coming from Angel. I grab Renee and go running outside. I hand Renee off to my mother and grab Angel. Angel had been stung by a wasp! I bring her inside and get an ice pack. I felt so bad for her. I just held her and rocked her for about an hour.
There you go... my very eventful weekend.... How was your weekend?
I'm not as young as I used to be... I found this out the hard way yesterday.
It started at four a.m.; Renee woke up screaming, I get out of bed, and can't straighten my back. I was in so much pain my lower back felt like someone was ripping my muscles off my bone. I finally make it in to her room and pick her up. *She must have had a bad dream because all she needed was some comforting* A couple hours later at 6 a.m. the alarm goes off and I get out of bed... still sore. Luckily Lee was off work so all I had to do was get Angel ready for school.
While Angel was brushing her teeth I went out to the garage to start my van. Out of the corner of my eye I seen something like a dark shadow scurry across the garage. I turn my head just in time to see a.... MOUSE!!! Ew! Ew! Ew! I can't stand mice! It was just a little field mouse, but still... ew! I start my van and go inside to tell Lee about the mouse. His response seemed like he was more interested in watching paint dry then doing something about our little rodent problem. *of course he was still half asleep*
I finally get everything taken care of and Angel and I start to walk out the side door to the garage. There were 3 small steps; I took the first step with my left foot and felt a sharp pain run up my leg (that's my bad leg, so that's pretty typical). I tried to compensate with my right, but when you are going down stairs; it's hard to do. I ended up falling and landing on my 'good' ankle. I start screaming in pain and Angel runs into my room saying, "Daddy! Come quick Mommy got hurt!" Lee runs to the stairs and tries to pick me up. *Just FYI, When I'm in pain, I can't stand being touched, I get irritable and snappy with everyone* I look at Lee and sternly say, "I'm FINE!" with tears in my eyes. He says to me, "No you're not, you need to ice that, give me the keys I'll take Angel to school." I of course have to be hard headed and get up and tell him no, and I'll take her. I start to walk and there goes the pain in both legs. Lee asks, "You sure?" "I'M FINE!!" as I leave.
I should have let him take her... just something about the way I am. I try to continue my daily routine no matter what happens. Even when I was in a wheel chair I did everything on my own I could, I guess I'm just that damn determined.
