Have you ever tried to look for your keys unremittingly, knowing you just had them? Well I did that this morning...
"I just had my keys, where'd I put them?"
Angel says, "I don't know Momma, are they in the diaper bag?"
*I start going through the diaper bag digging. I look up at the clock and realize we are running way late. I dump the diaper bag all over the dining room table and the keys were no where to be found. *
Suddenly I hear Renee in her room laughing. She runs out of her room smiling emitting this shrill that is deafening.
*You little snot... I think to myself*
So I go into Renee's room and start to hunt for my keys. I was followed by 2 children that were more interested in watching me panic about being late than help.
I realized that finding keys in a toddlers room is a lot like Where's Waldo. There are so many toys that help the keys to blend in with a full toy box. I swear I pulled out a 3 different sets of play keys before I found mine...
"Ahh okay here we go.... keys... check, kids... check, backpack... check, lunch... check, cell phone... cell phone... crap!"
"Forget it.... I'll find it when I get back!"
I finally get Angel off to school, and get back home. I searched for 2 hours for my cell phone. Where did I finally find it you ask?
Under the big screen TV..... turned off.. now where'd I put my keys?
